This research is about VAK learning styles (Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic), which indicate the different ways people prefer to learn, helping to improve educational strategies. The aim is to estimate the learning styles of the courses taught by the researchers at the Faculty of Engineering of the National University of Chimborazo. The learning styles test was applied, which consists of 40 questions with a 3-point Likert scale. The surveyed population was a convenience sample of 96 students from different majors. The results found were 33.3% auditory, 1% auditory-kinesthetic, 4.2% auditory-visual, 12.5% kinesthetic, 47.9% visual, and 1% visual-kinesthetic. It is concluded that there is a diversity of learning styles among the students, which will allow for the proper design of teaching materials to improve classroom activities and performance.Downloads
