Visual fatigue develops as a result of sustained eye strain during the workday, especially in activities involving prolonged screen use and poor lighting. Its most frequent manifestations include eye tiredness, burning sensations, and headaches, which negatively impact the worker's well-being and concentration. This study aimed to evaluate visual fatigue in employees of Soluciones Integrales de Ingeniería. The CVSS17 questionnaire was administered to a population of 23 employees from the Consulting group. Levels of visual fatigue (low, medium, and high), as well as severity, associated symptoms, and their relationship with sociodemographic variables, were analyzed. The results showed a medium prevalence of visual fatigue of 82.6% and a high prevalence of 17.4%. The instrument demonstrated acceptable internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha = 0.750) and adequate sample size (KMO = 0.728), confirming its reliability. It is concluded that there is a significant presence of medium to high levels of visual fatigue among the workers evaluated, highlighting the need to implement preventive strategies. Among these, the adoption of the 20-20-20 rule and periodic evaluation by a vision care specialist are recommended as primary preventive interventions.
