Checklist for shipping preparation

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check that their submission meets all of the elements shown below. Submissions that do not meet these guidelines will be returned to the authors.

  • The submission has not been previously published or considered by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in the comments to the editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.
  • Whenever possible, URLs in DOI format are provided for references.
  • The text has single line spacing; a 12-point font size; italics are used instead of underlining (except in URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed at the appropriate places in the text, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which appear in About the Journal.
  • Complies with the format of the Journal format
  • The collaboration proposal has not been previously published nor is it in the process of being reviewed for other publications.
  • The text is a Microsoft Word file, with 12-point Times New Roman font and 1.5 spacing.
  • The work conforms to the specifications of the APA format (7th edition).
  • Articles in the field of Health Sciences should use the Vancouver style format.
  • The proposed article includes an abstract and keywords in Spanish and English.
  • The work includes the title in Spanish and title in English
