Work-related stress is a psychosocial risk factor that impacts physical and emotional health, as well as teaching performance. The present study aimed to evaluate the levels of stress among Faculty members of the Faculty of Engineering at the National University of Chimborazo (UNACH) during the period of 2023-2S to 2024-1S. The Villalobos test was applied to a sample of 100 Faculty members selected through probabilistic sampling. The physiological, social, intellectual-labor, and psycho-emotional dimensions were determined and correlated with sociodemographic variables. The results showed that 71% of the Faculty reported medium levels of stress, 6% high, and 23% low. The Cronbach's alpha (0.969) and KMO (0.918) confirmed the reliability and consistency of the instrument. The correlation using Cramer's V revealed moderate and strong associations between gender and physiological and psycho-emotional symptoms. It concludes that there is a medium-high prevalence of teacher stress, which demands preventive strategies. A stress management manual is proposed as a mitigation tool.
