Manual handling of loads is a common activity that, if not done correctly, can cause injuries and physical pain. From an ergonomics perspective, it involves lifting, carrying, or moving objects while paying attention to posture and the body's limits, in order to protect health and prevent physical strain. The present study aimed to evaluate the lifting and lowering of loads among workers at SORECH SA, a civil construction service company on oil platforms. For this purpose, the MAC method was applied to a population of 8 company workers, and an evaluation was conducted for each job position. The levels of ergonomic risk were analyzed. Ergonomic risk levels were analyzed. The results showed a prevalence ranging from medium to high and very high, which require immediate intervention and preventive measures to reduce health problems. Therefore, a redesign of the workplace is recommended, along with reducing the weight of the load, as well as lowering the highest scores through intervention.
