Scope and legal consequences of the dissolution of the National Assembly

Introduction: The dissolution of the National Constituent Assembly in Ecuador fragments two of the five state powers, affecting the legislative power and, after a few months, the executive power. Although this action has a legal tint, it exposes vulnerabilities in the democratic system, which can be used as a tool for political manipulation. This research analyzes the legal complexities of this decision and its impact on the governance of the country.
Objective: To analyze the scope and legal consequences of the dissolution of the National Constituent Assembly of Ecuador, based on the constitutional reasons established in the regulations.
Methods: Case study, through which the consequences and legal implications of the dissolution of the National Assembly have been determined, employing an analytical and descriptive approach through bibliographic collection.
