Impacto de la migración en las trayectorias educativas de estudiantes ecuatorianos en Estados Unidos: una revisión bibliográfica

El presente artículo de revisión bibliográfica analiza el impacto de la migración en las trayectorias educativas de estudiantes ecuatorianos en Estados Unidos. A partir de una metodología basada en PRISMA 2020, se seleccionaron 25 documentos académicos e institucionales relacionados con migración ecuatoriana, estudiantes inmigrantes, aprendices de inglés, clima escolar, inclusión educativa y bienestar socioemocional. Los resultados evidencian que la migración incide de manera multidimensional en la experiencia escolar, afectando procesos de adaptación, aprendizaje del inglés, rendimiento académico, sentido de pertenencia, participación familiar y continuidad hacia la educación superior. Asimismo, se identificó que el idioma puede representar una barrera inicial, pero también una fortaleza cuando se reconoce el bilingüismo como recurso educativo. La revisión destaca que las condiciones migratorias familiares, el clima escolar y el apoyo institucional influyen significativamente en la permanencia y bienestar de los estudiantes. Se concluye que las escuelas deben promover prácticas inclusivas, apoyo lingüístico, acompañamiento socioemocional y orientación familiar para transformar la experiencia migratoria en una oportunidad educativa justa, integral, intercultural y esperanzadora para los estudiantes ecuatorianos.
