Gamificación como recurso pedagógico en la educación superior

La gamificación se ha consolidado como un recurso pedagógico innovador en la educación superior, especialmente en entornos virtuales de aprendizaje, al integrar elementos propios del juego en los procesos formativos. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar su impacto en la motivación, la participación y el aprendizaje significativo de los estudiantes universitarios a partir de una revisión bibliográfica de literatura científica reciente. Los resultados evidencian que la gamificación favorece la interacción, el compromiso académico y el desarrollo de competencias como el pensamiento crítico, la resolución de problemas y el trabajo colaborativo. Asimismo, su aplicación en plataformas digitales permite personalizar el aprendizaje, ofrecer retroalimentación inmediata y fortalecer la autonomía del estudiante. Sin embargo, su efectividad depende del diseño pedagógico, la formación docente y el acceso a recursos tecnológicos adecuados. Se concluye que la gamificación representa una estrategia pertinente para la innovación educativa en la educación superior, al contribuir a la transformación de metodologías tradicionales y promover experiencias formativas más dinámicas, participativas y centradas en el estudiante. Su implementación adecuada puede fortalecer la calidad del aprendizaje y la formación profesional universitaria.
