System of didactic activities to integrate gamified platforms into the teaching-learning process of Mathematics in Basic General Education

The teaching of mathematics in basic general education faces significant challenges due to low motivation and difficulties students have in assimilating and applying mathematical concepts, which affects their commitment and performance. Given this situation, gamification is presented as an innovative technology that transforms the educational process, making it more attractive and interactive. The objective was to design a system of educational activities that facilitates the integration of gamified platforms into the teaching-learning process of mathematics for students at the Adolfo Páez Basic Education School. To this end, a coherent and contextualized educational system was designed, which was validated by specialists and applied to determine its perception and viability in the classroom. The results indicated a positive assessment of the relationship between gamified activities and curriculum content, as well as an increase in active participation, and ease of use. Specialists highlighted the clarity, planning, technological integration, and effectiveness of the system, supporting its practical application. In conclusion, the proposal constitutes an effective teaching alternative that, through gamification, encourages interactivity, promotes the development of logical-mathematical skills, and improves educational quality in the subject of mathematics
