Introduction: Artificial Intelligence can help psychologists to assess the efficacy of psychological treatments where AI can analyze data from virtual therapies and provide insights into the success rate of treatments and how they compare to others to help clinicians psychology professionals to determine which are the most effective treatments
Objective: the objective of this article is to analyze how Artificial Intelligence influences Psychology students.
Methods: This research has a mixed approach, since methods, techniques and instruments were used for information processing from both a qualitative and quantitative perspective. The instruments applied were the interview and the survey, 15 teachers and 60 students of the Psychology career of the Technical University of Manabí were involved.
Results: as a result, it was possible to integrate technological tools associated with connectivist and constructivist methods, which contributes to students improving their academic performance.
Conclusions: Artificial Intelligence offers an impact on the academic performance of students because it improves the teaching-learning process.
