Intestinal parasitosis is a health problem that affects rural areas due to several factors such as personal hygiene, environmental sanitation and socioeconomic conditions, being the parasite load higher in children than in adults. The objective of this research was to determine the prevalence of parasitosis and its relationship with malnutrition in children in the parish of San Luis - Chimborazo, a study population of 610 children, where it was found that 91.48% had parasites. 48% presented parasites, among the relevant ones were 30.36% of Entamoeba coli cysts, Entamoeba histolytica cysts 19.02%, Iodameba bütschili 2.79%, Chilomastix mesnili 3.93%, while Giardia lamblia 5.08%, and 22.30% of the samples were found to be polyparasitized. With respect to the hematological analysis, it was determined that 12.13% had decreased hemoglobin values.
