Simuladores virtuales como estrategia para el desarrollo de competencias en la enseñanza de la física en educación superior: una revisión sistemática de la literatura

En la actualidad, los simuladores virtuales se han consolidado como una estrategia didáctica para la enseñanza de la física en la educación superior, al permitir visualizar fenómenos abstractos, superar las limitaciones de los laboratorios presenciales y favorecer el desarrollo de competencias en los estudiantes. El objetivo de esta revisión sistemática de la literatura es caracterizar la producción científica sobre los simuladores virtuales como estrategia para el desarrollo de competencias en la enseñanza de la física en educación superior. Para ello, se adoptó el modelo de Newman y Gough (2020), apoyado en la declaración PRISMA 2020, y se aplicaron las ecuaciones de búsqueda en las bases de datos Scopus y Web of Science a documentos publicados entre 2015 y 2026 en inglés y español, lo que dio como resultado 38 artículos incluidos. Los resultados muestran que PhET es el simulador más utilizado; que el contenido más abordado es la electricidad y los circuitos eléctricos; que las competencias más reportadas son las habilidades prácticas de laboratorio, la comprensión conceptual y la resolución de problemas; que predomina el aprendizaje basado en indagación como estrategia didáctica, y que la mayoría de los estudios reportan efectos positivos en el rendimiento académico y las habilidades de los estudiantes, aunque con una tendencia emergente hacia la integración de la inteligencia artificial. Se discuten las implicaciones de estos hallazgos para la enseñanza de la física universitaria.Descargas
